So Happy with my Model 121 snowshoes!

Very happy with my quick fit/deep cleat snowshoes. Love the narrow profile, light weight and great grip. So easy on and easy off, can't beat them. Love them!

Great for the maybe or maybe not I'll need snowshoes kinda day!

Super lightweight with good but not great traction. But I'm comparing to my trusty old MSR Lightning Ascents. I got the deep cleats and they bite ice and snow very well. But without the perimeter bite that my MSR snowshoes have you can feel a little more sideways slip. And if I was guaranteed breaking 6" or more of powder I'd opt for my MSR Lightning Ascents. That being said, I didn't get these for that purpose. I got them for shoulder season where I might be carrying snowshoes for half the time and at 2+ pounds vs 3+ pounds it's a no brainer going with the Dion 121 snowshoes! And they have a more narrow footprint which is better for narrow monorails. I can also see using them in midwinter with deep snow when you know the trail is completely broken and packed out so maybe you need the snowshoes to go off the tread for bathroom breaks or something unexpected. Basically they're spikes with flotation! I got the quick fit bindings and they seem to work well. Someone who owns these said he had a problem undoing them after submerging in water that froze the Velcro straps. I can't confirm that but makes sense. Otherwise they hold securely and easy to apply with extra varying length straps for tweaking the fit with different boots which is nice. I've used them just twice so take my review FWIW.

LOVE!

I have multiple types of running snowshoes and was not excited about using them. I purchased Dion, after a recommendation from a friend, and I am in love with these snowshoes!! They are so easy to put on and take off, you literally glide through the snow on a run and the customer service is exceptional! Dion helped me fall in love with winter again. Thank you Bob for your recommendation and excellent product.
